When I was asked to review Feel I was overjoyed. I’ve been having my hair cut at Feel for the last seven years, so when it comes to reviewing it, it’s pretty easy. I can still remember my first haircut. Heath (probably the best person I know who really understands hair) listened to what I wanted and understood the importance of a good haircut.  He knows too well that it’s not just about having a trim, but the way it makes you feel afterwards – he’s correct.  The end result makes me look and feel better than before I walked in.

Located at 83 Berwick Street, Feel possess a funky space; white walls, red floors, crisp finish, yet it doesn’t shout ‘pretentious’ like the majority of salons you come across.  Feel understand women’s hair just as well as men’s.  They have a good team and you actually don’t feel insecure when you are there.  Friendly, personable and fun…and most importantly great with hair, as you should expect.  

I probably don’t want to rave about it too much as it’s a gem I don’t want to share, but I’m a firm believer that when there is something good out there, you should really shout about it.  P.S. They have a great playlist of music…I think they should brand it up and sell it!

Verdict: 9.5/10

 

Gavin has been in charge of my hair for years....and long may it continue, he's excellent.  All the staff are friendly and personable, the atmosphere is fun and chilled, an oasis in the middle of Soho. I've no intention of going anywhere else as long as there's hair on my head and as long as Gavin's hands don't drop off!

I was in good hands and Kristen did a wonderful job to my hair, if I had a before and after picture you would definately see the difference. "I've been going to Feel in Soho for haircuts for over a year now. Ever since my first visit, the staff have alway been extremely welcoming and friendly as soon as walk through the door. I have Kristen cut and style my hair, she consistently cut my hair to a high standard, and alway suggest smart little changes to keep my hair up to date and on trend, but is never pushy. Im extremely fussy with regards to my hair, but can now relax and enjoy my appointments, thanks to the excellent professional service I receive from the going to Feel. "Well, I really have no words :p I have very long long hair and keep it as chemical and blow dry free as possible... I am very particular about choosing my hairdresser's because I treasure my hair as a second self...so far I had mostly disappointing experiences...I used to live in Oxford and then moved to London... nowhere before have I found such neat service from all the staff...the receptionist was so nice, lovely Yolanda who cut my hair was so nice, and generally everybody was nice ...
